You know the benefits of an event app. But, what constitutes a good event app that can actually give you all these benefits?

Here are a few important features that will add on to your event app:

1. Networking:

Adding a networking platform to your event apps along with social media integration will help increase attendee engagement on your app. This will ensure that more people make use of your app, giving you maximum ROI.

The attendees can chat and network prior to the event. They can set up meetings and set their schedule accordingly. This will help create a buzz and also ensure engagement.

2. Direct Payment Portal:

An easy to use and direct payment portal can be interlinked with the registration and ticketing features. This will make it easier for the organizer as well as the attendees.

It will help you keep track of all the registrations and payments with no hassle of including middlemen to take care of the money.

3. Speakers information:

A separate page detailing the speakers, their work and the sessions they’ll be presenting at the event will make it really convenient for the attendees.

They can note down the sessions that they’re interested in, the speakers that they would like to listen to and organize their own schedule accordingly. Event app can help you in leveraging speakers to gain more registrations.

4. Personalize:

Event apps can be made more engaging when it is personalized, catering to every attendee individually.

One example of personalization is adding the schedule feature to the app where each attendee can plan and keep track of their schedule and the sessions that they’ve attended. Apart from this, they can also arrange meetings with fellow attendees, building business connections.

Another example of personalization is the addition of a virtual assistant to help the attendees navigate through the event based on their personal profile. The assistant provides suggestions in terms of where to go and whom to meet.

5. Transport integration:

Commutation to the venue can be a tedious task for the attendees. Many events collaborate with transportation services such as Uber or Ola. These service features can be integrated with the event app.

This will make it more convenient for the attendees and will be an added bonus for them to download the event app.

These are just a few essential features that will help you make optimum use of your event application and ensure maximum download and engagement with the app.
